About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our commercial growth in Pharma. In this role, you will take responsibility for servicing and developing a portfolio of existing customers (60% of your time spent) and identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities (40% of your time spent) within the pharma industry (big Pharma + clinical trials). You will focus on building long-term customer relationships, driving sales from prospecting to contract signature, and representing our company as a trusted partner in innovative packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and approach new clients in France, Suisse, Spain
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline — from lead generation to deal closure.
- Prepare tailored commercial offers, pricing structures, and technical proposals in collaboration with our technical, production and customer service teams.
- Negotiate contracts and framework agreements with purchasing and C-level stakeholders.
- A technical knowledge of labels and interest in production processes is a key factor for your success.
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and input for commercial strategy.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and customer visits.
- Deliver on monthly and quarterly sales targets and report regularly to the Sales Director Pharma.

- Annual new business revenue
- Number of new qualified accounts per quarter
- Pipeline conversion rate and gross margin contribution
Profile / Requirements
Must-haves:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within labels, or the wider Pharma industry.
- Proven track record in new business creation.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals independently.
- Technical-commercial understanding of packaging or printing & production processes.
- Developing a broad portfolio of customers: small, medium and major size customers
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Based in or near Boechout, willingness to travel across Europe or a hybrid working place (minimum 2 days on site Boechout on a 2-weekly base)
- Valid driving license (B).
Nice to haves:
- Experience with label printing, clinical trials, flexible packaging, or shrink sleeve products.
- Familiarity with Pharma industry and the long-term process of the industry
- Experience working with international Pharma brands.
